Unfortunately Erin's last bloods on the 9th did not go too well. It took 5 attempts by 3 different people, took over an hour and it was traumatic for everyone but especially Erin. We then headed down to Berwick for a few days holiday but the team from Yorkhill rang to say one of her LFTs was a little high her GGT (70 when it should be around 30, it was 1500+ pre transplant) so they want her in again this week for another load of bloods. Sigh. I've got to have 3 wisdom teeth surgically removed on Monday so we are taking her back in on Thursday, fingers crossed they don't need so much this time. Will the worry every end?? I feel like we have been on amber alert since February and have just moved up a level again. After just one 'bad' results we are suddenly back living from blood test to blood test again. Erin is well enough in her self although she still has a bit of a chesty cough and is snuffly at night and she is teething on and off as well.
Some things we have discovered this week
- Erin does NOT like people dressed up in bear outfits,
- she will literally eat until she pops if allowed,
- she CAN sleep all night - the record is currently 7pm-5am so getting there slowly,
- she may be addicted to pancakes although she can also eat her own body weight in strawberries, bananas or blueberries if allowed,
- Erin cuddles are the best, she is very much a mummy's girl at the moment and I love being given random cuddles whenever she feels the need.
- Toddler tantrums are going to be bad for the white walls in our kitchen..... when she is upset she throws things at the walls, this week blueberry porridge and egg with baked beans have proved difficult stains to shift,
- my iphone is never safe,
- She is an excellent mimic and can copy lots of sounds whilst adding her own unique style, her lion roar is very very cute.
