Some 1sts

Well we have had quite a few firsts this week - some good, one not so good.

First proper bath - she is quite the water baby! She is loving getting a proper dunk in the bath and sloshing around in bubbles. Her central line wound is healing very well.
First time attending a baby group - we had fun at the local library rhyme time class and will definitely be going back regularly.
First time in a supermarket trolley, I think she enjoyed.

First Tooth - we finally have a little toothypeg to show for the last 5 months of teething!!!! Just one for now but another 7 are trying hard to come through too, que major lack of sleep in our house which was not helped by.......
First cold - Erin started sniffling on Saturday night and was a full blown snot machine by Sunday morning, poor lamb. She has passed it on (such a generous baba) and seems to be dealing with it quite well, unlike me and Jamie who are pathetically floored by the germs.
First shot in a swing (I did wipe it down with disinfectant wipes for about 10 minutes before I put her in) her face says it all!

Erin had her 10 month assessment today with our community paediatrician and 'passed' with flying colour. She has no concerns about her physical or behavioural development despite spending the first 7 months of her life so very ill, isn't the human body amazing? She is now on the 75th percentile for height and weight, post transplant she was on the 75th for height but below the 9th for weight.

Her trick repertoire consists of waving and clapping to order, pivoting 360 while sitting, her words now include saying 'ta' for thank you, dada, mama (although is pretending to have forgotten this word). Latest tricks include passing toys back and forth to you, knowing some of her toys by their name and standing up at every opportunity oh and doing yoga, she is super bendy. Her new favourite game is to play in her rummage box, a wee box filled with all her smallish toys, she can spend hours emptying it and throwing toys around.
She is still a giggle machine and a very tickily little person, it is very hard to resist making her laugh all day!
