Just a quick update to say Erin is now mobile arrrrh! She can walk the length of the living room and can push beagles out of her way in the process. Not bad for a 14 month old who barely moved until she was 7 months old.
In liver news her latest bloods were good. Her CRP was up a little at 30, it's a measure of infection, but she was well in herself aside from the continuing cold and cough. She now appears to be EBV negative which seems pretty amazing to me, has this super baby fought this infection so quickly??? As far as i can tell most transplant kids tend to struggle on with it for a while so I'm going to quiz the team at clinic about this on Thursday. We have our first local clinic at the hospital where Erin was born, the team from Yorkhill are coming out to do a joint meeting with them. I think this is mainly just so they know about Erin incase she has to go in in an emergency as it's our closest hospital at 30 minutes drive. We've not had the best experiences with them in the past but we will try and go with an open mind......
Erin is super sweet at the moment and full of cuddles. She is really coming on with her social skills and is already showing a worryingly strong preference to males.
