Baby Erin is growing up

All is going well with us and our little mischief, things are never dull though! She is getting closer to walking everyday and is wilder than the heather at the moment. She is full of fun and has been enjoying lots of socialising recently, thankfully she seems to be coming out of her clingy phase!

Yesterday marked 1 year since Erin's Kasai, it still feels like yesterday to be honest! We are still so grateful to the surgeon who performed the procedure as it bought her a bit of time to get a little bigger before she needed a transplant. Jamie and I were at the wedding of two of our good friends Theo and Kimberley yesterday so I didn't really have time to dwell on things. The lovely newly weds managed to bring tears to my eyes when we discovered that they had made a donation to the Children's Liver Disease Foundation on behalf of all their guests instead of having wedding favours, how thoughtful was that?

Jamie and a group of friends are taking part in the Pedal for Scotland event on 11th September to raise money for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation. It is a 51 mile cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Training seems to be going well and if you would like to sponsor the guys please visting their just giving website. Every penny is gratefully received!
