Normality reigns!

We had a good trip to Yorkhill yesterday, blood results were normal again and we have weight gain!!!! 8oz since last week to be precise, bringing her up to the grand weight of 15lbs 11oz (7.1kg). We were getting concerned as she has sussed that the lactose free milk she is on tastes guff even with the disguise of strawberry nesquik and drinking less every day. So our lovely dietician had sugested we reintroduce NORMAL (love that word) formula milk to see if her tummy has recovered and it is all going well so far. She is starting to drink more again and loving proper food, current favs are mince 'n' sweet tatties, mango & avocado and anything mummy is eating especially banana.

Some other new tricks she has learned are proper waving and giving thumbs up although she seems very surprised every time her hand performs particularly when each hand is doing a different trick.

The Physio came out on Wednesday and was quite pleased with her progress so far. She has given us some exercises to help her tummy muscles develop and to help her sitting up. We've already been practicing and she is coming on very quickly.

We have been going for lots of lovely walks and met lambs for the first time today, mummy was slightly more excited about this than Erin.

Also had to show you this piccy just for cuteness factor. We picked up the ears at Yorkhill, they were selling them to raise money for kidney research, we have met a few kidney babies during in our time in hospitals and I hope they are all doing well now and are at home with their families.
