Day 5 - Testing complete
Erin had her MRI today and it went smoothly, although it was delayed for 2 hours as an emergency came in just as we took down. The poor mite was fasted from 7am until 5pm so she nearly ate the bottle when she came round from the anaesthetic, it was her 5th general anaesthetic in her short life so far. She is still a little groggy but we think her tummy is looking less swollen, probably a combination of the start of iv diuretics and the long fasting.
The MRI report will be in on Monday then the team will have a meeting to discuss the plan. So a quiet weekend to come hopefully bringing an improvement in Erin's comfort if the ascities continue to drop.
