Erin is out of theatre!

Erin came out of theatre at 6am and is doing well in intensive care. She is extubated (woo hoo!) and snuggling with Eeyore. We were amazed by how alert she is and she has already pulled out one line! Naughty Erin, the nurse rewarded her with some morphine.

The first 48 hours will be the most telling in terms of liver function but she is being very closely monitored.

We can't believe it has happened, we have such a range of emotions we don't really know what to feel but I can't take the smile off my face, although it is a nervous one.
