Poor baba is sooo hungry today this is the first time she has slept since 6am. Haemoglobin is better (9.7) so no more vampire blood removal required but clotting is up a fraction as they stopped iv Vit K. It can take a wee while to stabilise so they've given one more dose of Vit K and will see what the midnight bloods say. She was supposed to get her neck line out but it'll need to stay in til tomorrow now.
Her scan today was good, not need for another one for a couple of days. We cannot wait to be able to give her a bottle, she nearly ate a nurse earlier..... We will mention it tomorrow at 'grand round' and see when they will allow it, she is currently up to 24mls per hour but is still not impressed. We are so relieved that so far the hunger is all we are dealing with and it has all gone so smoothly.
Delighted she's doing so well - the photos of her smiling are just beautiful :)
